The excavation at the Rue Ibn Chabaát and was already conserved by provisional preservation measurements under F. Rakob in the 90ies. After an enlargement in the first decade of this century a final ambitious conservation and presentation program was created in the year 2014. In the illustration of the archaeological presentation the massive and large Roman foundation walls are very dominant. On the bottom between these walls of 7m height alongside a Roman cardo, the Punic settlement structures indicate their distorted orientation of about 30 degrees. The relics show original and reconstructed structures of different buildings of diverging historic phases  between the early period of the 8th till the end of the Punic era of the 2nd century B.C. Inside the massive foundation wall of a round Byzantine building, a modern staircase leads down to a – still visible – huge stone block, probably  the corner of a Punic temple. Inside a small vaulted antiquarium hall information panels show the different historic settlement phases by plans and present some interesting original findings. Special attention was paid to security by the surrounding steel fence and a system of cameras and floodlights during night.
