The international program for excavation and archeological research of the ancient Carthage took place under the participation of 15 international excavation teams in the 1970ies. The excavations of the the Deutsches Archäologisches Institut started within the same framework of the UNESCO in the 80ies with conservation works for the presentation of its archaeological relics. The site is named “Archaeological Park of Carthage and Sidi Bou Said”. Since then, our office took part in various projects.
