Based on preliminary investigation adequate restoration concepts for the archeological architecture exhibited in the museum are elaborated, integrating appropriate scientific analysis of structures and damages and samplings for restoration.
A monitoring concept for the protection of the ancient architectural exhibits during reconstruction of the musuem was developed togehter with the planning offices accountable for the conversion of the museum building. With a comprehensive surveillance (eg. data-transmitting in real time) and securing elements, the dismantling of those historic monuments could be reduced to a minimum and the saftey of the remaining built in exhibits could be provided.
Within early measures of safeguarding the proven statical and building physical defects were fixed to prevent further damage. For this purpose customized minimal invasive solutions were developed.
