The implementation of conservation and restoration works had been the result of an intensive discussion by public institutions about the need for rehabilitation measurements covering the whole site. Different conceptions had been developed. In the end a decision was made in favor of a comprehensive and profound solution; the recreation of many original parts of the medieval site i.e. the rehabilitation of the medieval gateways in the infrastructure concept, the restoration and protection of important historical relics and the renewal of a traditional restaurant facility. Modern conservation technologies as well as traditional handcrafting methods had been applied for the restoration works.
