In the 8th century the theater was probably already heavily affected by an earthquake, main structural damages occur widely in the upper Cavea as well in the western endings, components of seats and carved stone blocks are mauled. In the mid-nineties a documentation survey of the already excavated parts of the ruin was made, based on compiled handmade drawings. Lacking parts in the documentation of the entire building are completed in abstract alignment using fixed levelling key points. The photo documentation presents the situation in the year 2017 after further cleaning and small excavation activities in the theatre had been undertaken for provisional public utilization.
